HAPPY FOURTH...

I hope you all had a festive fourth of July and were able to enjoy all the fireworks as much as I did! 

I think it's safe to say that the fourth is one of my favorite holidays. I'm so grateful for this country that I live in and for the freedom that we have.

LOOKS I LOVE

First and foremost, h a p p y  m e m o r i a l  d a y! I hope you all have a lovely day and are able to enjoy your day off! I'm excited to spend time with my family who came up to Rexburg for the weekend. Along with having no school :)

Anywho, is anyone else just as excited for spring/summer to finally be here as I am? I was getting quite fed up with the brutally cold walks to and from classes. But am so happy that I can finally pull out my sandals and sun dresses. Lately, I have been loving two looks. The first being dresses & skirts for summer. It's a trend that hasn't been so dominating in the past, but I think is definitely making a comeback. Last week, I wore a dress to school for the first time in.. well, for the first time! For some reason this season I think they are simply the cutest.

The other spring/summer look that I am totally loving is the opposite of dressy - ultra casual. I love the look of you didn't try too hard, but yet you still look put together. Here are some of my favorites...

With summer right around the corner {well, not in rexburg but in the rest of the world} I find myself turning to my favorite style icons for summer inspiration. Starting with socialite, Olivia Palermo. And while her TV personality leaves much to be desired, I can't help but admire nearly every outfit she puts together. She is the epitome of class. 

If I could raid anyones closet, it would be hers. Hands down.
