BREAK...

what a whirlwind of a month it's been. geesh it's been crazy.
since my last post, i've managed to go to california with my best friends, survived one of the worst finals weeks of my life, moved back home, go to seattle, buy one direction tickets (#blessings), play mom for two weeks and somehow keep all of my cute little succulents alive through it all.

i swear the past month lasted for 2 minutes. so much has happened in so little time and i'm having a hard time keeping up! this summer will be a good time for me to catch my breath after being in school for waaay too long (i have a 7 month break) and have some time to work on my own projects. along with soaking up some sun poolside. the other day i realized that this is the first summer in four years that i will be home and not in school! so you bet i'm going to milk it for allll it's worth.

here's a little re-cap of what the past couple of months have looked like for me...

SUNDAY SHENANIGANS

This past Sunday, some friends and I decided we would take advantage of the warm weather and go feed the ducks at Nature Park. In doing so, it was reconfirmed that birds (for whatever reason) terrify me. So it was a pretty short lived adventure. But hey, we were able to snap a few cute photos so it was all worth it, right?

HARRY STYLES...

Sooo if you follow me on Instagram, you've probably already figured out that I have an obsession with Harry Styles. (the hair, the dimples, the smile. i mean... c'mon.) For those of you who don't know who that is, he is a member of the band One Direction. AKA the greatest 5 guys you could ever listen to. I'm obsessed.
Anyway, it's gotten to the point where I feel like Harry and I are friends. Or atleast we should be by now. I'm convinced that we would have the best time. I guess my point in all of this is that I've noticed my style starting to morph into things that Harry would wear. So basically I've been wearing black on black nearly everyday. No shame.
And of course, while wearing the outfit below I was channeling my inner Harry Styles.

Okay. That's enough fangirl-ing for one night. I hope you all have a great week!

CIARA GRACE IMAGES

It's been a while since I have made a post on here, so I thought I would do a little update! When you get into the daily grind of things like school and work it can be hard to find the time to do things that you enjoy. Like keeping up with this blog!
Anyway, I am pleased to announce that I have started my own photography business! This is something that I've been wanting to do for a while now and it's finally coming together. I couldn't be more thrilled! I shoot anything from basic portraits, engagements, families to roommate photos. So, if you or someone you know is in need of getting some photos taken (and you are in the Rexburg area) contact me! I would love to get you behind the camera!

PLAYING PHOTOGRAPHER...

This weekend my roommate and her boyfriend asked if I would take some pictures of them! I was so thrilled!
We went to this old mill here in Rexburg, it made for the perfect location. They really are the cutest, these two. And can you believe he's wearing a short sleeve t-shirt? In December? In Rexburg?! It's a Christmas miracle, really. The weather has been surprisingly bearable and I'm diggin' it.

THANKSGIVING...

This Thanksgiving was all sorts of wonderful.
Good food, family, and of course, relaxing. I was able to spend time with my parents, my two sisters + husbands, and three of my nieces and nephews. It made for the perfect week!

Every year I look forward to decorating the table for Thanksgiving dinner, because well, who doesn't love a well dressed table?! But this time I had to share the reins with my uber talented sister. We went with a woodsy black, white, gold + maroon color scheme. And I have to say, it turned out to be darling!

Also, I've always (as I'm sure many of you have as well) pined over all the flower crowns I would see on Pinterest/Instagram and wanted so badly to wear one of my own! So I asked my mom, who is a florist, to make me one this year for Thanksgiving! So I went to her flower shop and picked out all the fall flowers I could find and viola! She made one for me and my little niece London and they couldn't have been more adorable. (thanks mom!)

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and shared it with those you love!

ROOMMATES...

Roommates can be a sketchy situation. You just never know what you're going to get.  Especially if you get stuck with bad ones! And while I have had my fair share of those, I have also been blessed with so many great ones! This semester was no exception. I only knew 1 of them out of the 5 at the beginning of the semester but we have all become so close! I'm so grateful for their friendship and will be sad when we are no longer living together! But until then, it will continue to be a party.
